Poezja śpiewana – Oda do butów

buty wędrowca

To piosenka wykonana przez Studio JK – przy udziale SI, tekst Jolanta Krzewicka

interpretacja wiersza Zdzisława Bernackiego

ODA DO BUTÓW

Hej buty dziurawe

na milowej drodze

 obok paśnych wozów

wśród skrzypiących ściernisk

skwar

czy niepogoda

utrudzone srodze

a człapiecie przecie

 po tym bożym świecie

hej druhowie wierni

chwała wam tu oto

 niech was sławi oda

 idźmy hen piechotą

w trzecie tysiąclecie

przez grudy kałuże

czy w mróz to czy w błoto

czy w zbóż topiel złotą

w dni nowych podróże

chwała wam

 powtórzę sława wam i chwała

 mojeż wy buciska paro

 tak mi bliska

 Hej buciory nuże

w dal nieśmy się wzajem

 na przełaj i skrajem

 na ukos i prosto

w skwar i w zamieć ostrą

po drogach bezdrożach

 dokąd wola boża

 nieśmy się nawzajem

wierne sobie druhy

pokąd sił dostaje

mojeż buty zuchy

Ode to My Old Shoes (Blues)

Verse 1
Hey, my worn-out shoes, full of holes and scars,
Walked a thousand miles beneath the sun and stars.
Through the dust and heat, through the rain that blew,
This old road keeps calling, and I’m walking it with you.

Chorus
Oh, my faithful shoes, keep on rolling on,
Through the mud and gravel from dusk till dawn.
You’ve been my companions when the sky was blue,
Lord, I sing this bluesy ode to you.

Verse 2
Past the creaking wagons and the fields so dry,
When the summer sun was burning from the sky.
When the cold wind cut and the storm clouds grew,
You kept moving forward, that’s what good old shoes will do.

Chorus
Oh, my faithful shoes, keep on rolling on,
Through the mud and gravel from dusk till dawn.
You’ve been my companions when the sky was blue,
Lord, I sing this bluesy ode to you.

Bridge
Across the crossroads, down forgotten tracks,
Ain’t no use in counting all the miles behind our backs.
Sideways, straight ahead, wherever fate may choose,
I got no better friends than these old traveling shoes.

Verse 3
Into a new century, one step at a time,
Through the golden wheat fields and the dirt roads lined.
While I’ve still got strength and you’ve got leather too,
We’ll keep chasing freedom, me and you.

Final Chorus
Oh, my faithful shoes, keep on rolling on,
Through the mud and gravel from dusk till dawn.
When my journey’s over and my song is through,
I’ll still be grateful for these old worn shoes.

Yeah, these old worn shoes…
